Popular New York DJ Sin Morera spent his Thanksgiving holiday in Atlanta spinning for a Turkey Day Eve event with a dual purpose: entertain the masses and benefit a charity.

Morera (top photo) took over the DJ booth at the Heretic on Nov. 24 for an evening that also benefitted Joining Hearts, the non-profit that hosts the wildly-popular pool party fundrasier each summer at Piedmont Park. The group recently donated $125,000 to its beneficiaries AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House.

imageThe DJ, stopping in Atlanta before he winters in Costa Rica, offered a lineup that included the debut of his new single, “My Heartbeat.” Morera was hyped for the evening: “Let’s Muthafukin Rock and Roll Tonight !! GOBBLE GOBBLE AND SLURP!!!”
