Show us your Pride-rific photos, win some swag

Celebrate your Atlanta Pride this weekend and snap the perfect photo of that special moment. When you do, we’ve got just the thing for you: Project Q Atlanta’s Show Your Pride Photo Contest. We’ve got swag for you, too. You know we love our Pride photos. And you know that we know that you love the photos we shoot all weekend long. But here’s your chance to get in on the action. As you enjoy Pride weekend, capture your fun by snapping photos with your smartphone, tablet or digital camera. Pick the best one (or more than one) that represents what Pride means to you, a fun moment or just a hot someone. Be creative. We’re looking for striking images of anything that means Atlanta Pride to you. Then enter the image (or images) in our Pride photo contest. It’s easy. Enter on our website here or on our Facebook fan page here. But hurry. You’ve only got until midnight on Wednesday to submit your work. Once you enter, you can view your entries and, better yet, check out the ones we’ve received from others. From Oct. 18-21, you and our Project Q readers will vote and we’ll select three winners from the 10 that receive the most votes during the public voting period. Winners will be announced Oct. 22. And our friends at a couple of gay-owned businesses are providing the swag. The first 50 entrants will receive a $10 gift card from Radial Cafe. Three winners will receive one of three prizes: a $50 gift card to Radial, $50 bar tab to Jungle or a $50 gift card to Brushstrokes. All of the official rules are included in the contest entry form, which you can read on our site and on our Facebook fan page. Happy Pride! Now get to snapping some rainbow-rific photos! UPDATE: We've extended the deadline to enter. Now you've got until midnight on Thursday, Oct. 18.
