TOUCHDOWN: The National Flag Football League of Atlanta continues its spring and summer season with a set of four games on the athletic fields of Piedmont Park. 9 a.m. (View the Project Q Atlanta photo album from the league’s Opening Day.) The league heads to Woof’s after the games. 3 p.m.

PURPLE DRESS: The Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club continues its recruitment efforts for the upcoming Purple Dress Run. Today, they will set up at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

KICKOFF: Pets Are Loving Support hosts an open house and kickoff party for its upcoming K9 Cotillion. The fundraiser is set for May 17. The drop in today includes barbeque, cocktails and a small auction. 5 p.m.

imageHOME GAME: The Atlanta Xplosion (2-0) faces the Chattanooga Locomotion during its second home game of the season at Hallford Stadium in DeKalb County. SHAKEN: The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus continues its three-day run of “Shaken, Not Heard: Stories of Gay Men, Faith and Reconciliation.” The concert event is inspired by real-life struggles from members of the chorus and features a broad range of sacred and secular music. The concerts take place at Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur today (8 p.m.) and Sunday (3 p.m.) $10 to $45

TONY MORAN: New York DJ Tony Moran returns to Atlanta and brings his skills to Jungle. 10 p.m. $10

SOUTHERN STYLE: Gay funnyman Leslie Jordan brings his stand up comedy to Le Buzz in Marietta. Jordan has two performances in Atlanta between stops to visit family and talked with Project Q Atlanta about his Atlanta stops. $20. 10:30 p.m.
