TACKLE THIS: The Atlanta Xplosion women’s football team opens its season tonight against the Clarksville Fox. $10, 6 p.m. (View the Project Q Atlanta photo album from the Xplosion preseason scrimmage.)

FISH FASHION: The Atlanta Rainbow Trout holds a fashion fundraiser tonight. Fish Out of Water features members of the swimming and water polo group. But unlike a typical fashion show, this one allows you to buy the clothes off their backs. $10, 9 p.m.

imageGLOBAL GROOVE: DJ Escape (photo) hits Jungle tonight after the the Atlanta Rainbow Trout fashion fundraiser. The Global Groove Tour opens at 11 p.m. It’s free if you hit the fashion show first, or $10.

REBIRTH: Traxx Atlanta offers up a resurrection of its own for the Easter Weekend holiday. “A Rebirth or Sophistication, Enlightenment and Cool” is a way for the long-time black gay nightlife mainstay to show off its new look. The evening also includes the “premier” of Traxx’s Best Dance Crew. 11 p.m.
