imageHello, weekend! Let’s chill all day and well into night with today’s trusty roster of LGBT gatherings, sports, pageants, concerts, meals, commemorations, theme nights and parties.

Trans united. The annual Southern Comfort Conference for transgender people @ Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, all day and through Sunday.

Opening ceremonies. The Southern Softpaw League (top photo) begins its fall softball season with games @ Southside Sports Complex, through 2 p.m.

Remember the time. Atlanta Eagle Raid: One Year Later customer appreciation cookout @ the Eagle, 4 p.m.

image Men in drag pageants. You’d think they’re similar. They’re not. “Pageant: The Musical” @ 14th Street Playhouse, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and The Armorettes’ (middle photo) Miss Natural Disaster Pageant @ Jungle, 7 p.m.

Again, so different. Singing sensations Debbie Reynolds @ Ferst Center, 8 p.m., and Michelle Malone @ Eddie’s Attic, 8 p.m.

Dynamic duo. Dance to the beats of DJs Phil B. and Twisted Dee @ the Heretic, 10 p.m.
