Sam Champion is too fabulous for winter hats

Add this share

When gay Atlanta weather daddy Sam Champion stares down winter weather, he'll pull on double mittens, double socks, toe warmers and a scarf. But definitely not a hat, so stop pestering him about it on Twitter.

“I feel like I'm on TV, I kind of want you to see my face. I don't want to bury it in a hat or a hood but my ears freeze,” Champion says.

That winter weather insight came during Champion's recent appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show.” But Champion, who co-anchors “AMHQ” on Atlanta-based Weather Channel, didn't stop there. He offered up a prediction that could ruin your winter –lower than average temps with the potential for a dose of “brutal” – a squirting snowman and a confessional allowing more insight into the popular figure that's taken gay Atlanta by storm since his arrival last year.

Like how he handles hunky husbandand artist Ruben Robierb? Don't go to bed angry. And those young jocks at his favorite LA Fitness in Atlantic Station? His motivation.

“As competitive as I am, there has to be like younger people who are working out harder than I am there,” Champion teases. Hotties in the gym. Works for us, too.

And the beach. It's his place to de-stress. And cuddle in Speedos.
