Hunky DJ Luis Perez, no stranger to gay Atlanta, got cozy with also hunky 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick during a Super Bowl party, sparking rumors that the pair is an item and fueling fantasies about that mound of manflesh.
Perez teased his Facebook friends by posting a pic (below) of the smiling pair late Saturday night as they snuggled up during the party in New York City.

That got the gay tongues wagging, especially in Atlanta where Perez did the high school and college thing and now delights the shirtless crowd at the Joining Hearts pool party fundraiser. He likes to spin for Jungle jocks, too, and has been spotted outside the DJ booth getting his dance on at Heretic and other gay clubs.

Word on the street is that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was seen getting “cozy” and “comfortable” with openly gay circuit DJ Luis Perez at the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party last weekend. Another gay false alarm, or secret gay power couple to watch?
After all, an unassuming photo can sometimes signal more. Hey there, Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black. And Caepernick has undergone something of a stylish makeover recently. And he pals around with fag hag Kathy Griffin at the Grammys. And looks so delicious hanging out with Gawker's gay chief Nick Denton. And played in the gayest Super Bowl ever last year.
But some gays want a little more before they get lost in daydreams of Perez and Kaepernick playing locker room.
Further, Queerty offers no detail as to what constitutes, at least in their minds, two gentlemen being "cozy" or "comfortable" together at a party. Were they seated together? Were they on a dance floor? Were they alone? Were they hugging? What was the nature of the physical contact, if any? Who actually observed these photos, someone at Queerty, or somebody else? And what was it that led him/her/them to conclude that this MIGHT be a "power couple" in the making? I see no evidence of "word on the street" aside from the words conjured up by Queerty itself.
Romance or bromance? Ask Perez for yourself when he returns to Atlanta on March 8 to play Jungle. Maybe the pair will meet up. Kapernick has been spotted during the off-season shopping at Lenox Mall.
