Rick Westbrook (pork) Roast backs Lost N Found

Gay Atlanta really came together for the 50th birthday celebration of its own Rick Westbrook. The youth advocate, twisted drag Sister, vigil sitter and former Pride grand marshal took the heat at a charity roast in his honor.

So Westbrook (top photo, right) took center stage while guests enjoyed his favorite food group (pork). Well-known “roasters” let him have it, performers put on a show, and all tips and door donations went to Lost N Found Youth, the group Westbrook helped found for Atanta’s LGBT homeless young people.

Guests including Westbrook’s own Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (photo, center) were in attendance. Scheduled for moments in the spotlight were performances and words by Edie Cheezburger, Jaye Lish, Bubba D. Licious, Le Sexoflex, Chandler Bearden, Sheila Merritt, Charlotte Cagle, Master DuWayne, Ruby Redd, Chesley Thurman and Pinkie Jenkins, among others.
