Regular gays need this ‘Guide to Gay Vernacular’

Our bet for the first bonafide gay viral video of 2014 helps moms, straight besties and fab-challenged gays. It's gay comic Eliot Glazer’s “Reluctant Gay Dude’s Guide to the Modern Gay Vernacular.”

After a weirdly placed promo for HBO's new gay series “Looking” (Jump to :57 to skip it), Glazer breaks it down after becoming increasingly aware that even as a gay man he couldn’t keep up with the young and the fierce. When his mom’s friend started telling him to “werq bitch,” he knew the internet needed his help. And that regular gays, straight allies, and maybe even those boys actually skilled in the use of hunty vs. gurl, needed the laughs (video above, NSFW).

Click play and see if you agree that these sickening new communication tools make up the best gay video you’ve seen all year. Incorporating Glazer’s own discovery into our daily usage, we think you’ll get a Bruce Vilanch of laughs out of it.
