Red Hatters bring some society to bingo [photos]

It’s doubtful the Red Hat Society — those ladies over 50 who greet life with humor and elan while wearing red fedoras and purple dresses — have a chapter quite like the one that unfolded on Wednesday with drag queens and bingo players.

But the organization, with chapters across the country, was the inspiration for the monthly bingo fundraiser for Pets Are Loving Support. And the gays took full advantage of the theme, including hostess Bubba D. Licious (second photo).

Here’s hoping the crowd remains so inspired for Jocks & Jills Bingo on Sept. 8.
