Ready for a ‘rendezvous’ on the slopes?

Looking to escape Atlanta for a winter wonderland? The gay ski circuit in North America kicks off early next month, beginning in Utah and continuing with a string of events that will keep any gay ski bunny busy until early April.

There’s a little something for everyone, from large events including Aspen Gay Ski Week to smaller ones that might be a better fit for inexperienced skiers, such as Winter Rendezvous XXIV in Stowe, Vt. There’s also an event just for African-American skiers and snowboarders.

I explored the options, talked to some experts for tips on how to pick the best event for you and pulled together a list of the outings for my weekly sports column in Southern Voice. Read the full story.
