Rainbow Pride love, because haters gonna hate

Add this share

While you were busy feeling the love during Pride weekend, the anti-gay bigots hit Atlanta shouldering all the angst and early-death toxic energy you left behind. A rainbow brigade knew what was up and met them with an equal and opposite reaction of positive force, and those Negative Nancy messages fell flat.

Try as they might, the haters couldn’t rain on our parade or our gay days in Piedmont Park. As they and their signs spewed vitriol that affected no one but themselves, a pro-LGBT rainbow contingent of “Born This Way” counter protestors (top photo) diffused the hate with love. That is, when the new and instantly beloved Pansy Patrol wasn’t there to take up the mantel with flower power. It’s good to have friends.
