Spotted in the crowd were costumes representing just about every sci-fi/fantasy/geek alter-ego you can think of, plus a few that you probably never would. There were personal takes on super heroes, monsters, characters from movies and TV shows, and fantasy interpretations that for simplicity sake we’ll put into the “anything goes” category. After a full day of Dragon*Con panel discussions, people watching and the annual parade through downtown (view photos), the Ls, Gs, Bs and Ts in the crowd were ready to party OutlantaCon style. The folks with the convention’s BritTrack helped organize the event, and the partnership meant that the Atlanta Ballroom of the downtown Sheraton was hopping with a cash bar and music to keep the crowd dancing. imageGuests also got an early bird discount on tickets to OutlantaCon 2012, set for May 4-6 at the Holiday Inn Select--Perimeter. Plans are already in full swing for discussion panels, gaming, costumes and special guests with a queer bent, and it’s all yours for the price of an OutlantaCon membership. And membership has its privileges. Check out more photos from the group in our gallery from the 2010 Rainbow Flag Party and OutlantaCon’s own 2011 convention.
