Queer Atlanta football jocks close season with drag fundraiser

The National Flag Football League of Atlanta raised money in memory of a beloved former player as they celebrated the end of their 16th season on Saturday.

A cocktail hour and awards presentation was followed by the always-memorable Ladies of the League Drag Competition, featuring eight NFFLA players in their glittery, sparkly best.

Miss Mona Lott emceed the event at My Sister’s Room.

All admission fees for the party went to the Landon Padgett Memorial Fund, which awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Padgett was a gay Atlanta nurse, fitness trainer and former NFFLA player who died in 2016.
