Q mag puts on Falcons hospitality for super queer Super Bowl issue

There are as many kinds of queers as there are kinds of people, so paths diverge for diverse LGBTQ tribes in any given issue of Q on any given day. Of course, this week isn’t just any given Sunday.

Whether you’re in it for the Maroon 5 mini concert, the million-dollar ads or the actual gridiron action, we are here for the LGBTQ-ATL contingent joining the citywide football fever during Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. The Big Game takes over our 10 Queer Things this week with the best queer Super Bowl watch parties.

Of course, that doesn’t divert other queer tribes from their appointed beats, so we find dancing queens doing their thing in the Q Shots galleries and prepping for more in the Queer Agenda calendar of weekend parties. Then in Q Stages, a decidedly different dance duo all the way from Israel lets us in on their contemporary gay love story.

Speaking of Israel, that country features prominently during the month-long, always-inclusive Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. Q Movies scours the program for this year’s films of queer interest.

Finally, queer issues are on the table in Q Voices, which calls out black celebrities for their silence on LGBTQ justice for African Americans, and The Q advice column peeks into married folks’ wallets.

Beyond our weekly print product, you can also catch us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or you can write me directly at [email protected]. Flip through the digital edition of this week's full issue below:
