Even as COVID and its vaccine deniers take their toll on the rest of us, this issue of Q ATLus magazine comes with a reminder that LGBTQ Pride in Atlanta is not any particular event or place. It’s of and in all of us.
Just as Atlanta’s Pride never dies, Labor Day Weekend brings LGBTQ options for your virtual and/or vaccinated enjoyment. The annual cacophony of events that are Black Gay Pride is still happening, and we have the biggest official events from Atlanta Black Pride Weekend and Atlanta Black Pride Labor Day Rock.
This issue also carries the details on LGBTQ tennis buffs at The Peach tournament, queer nerds doing DragonCon, and several other happenings listed in Q Events and in an expanded 20 Q Things.
Other LGBTQ events still giving a green light this month include the newly announced 2021 Out on Film schedule, as well as all the planned patio parties and DJ dances now and each week including what would have been Pride Weekend. Atlanta Pride may be off, but Pride in Atlanta is very much on.
We’ll be right here for all of it in print weekly and online daily at theQatl.com. Read the latest issue digitally here:
