Protective bro gets bloodied at gay bar’s last call

Some lessons on how not to end your night of cocktailing in gay Atlanta: Don't call the bouncer a faggot. Don't tell a cop to suck your dick. And definitely, do not start a brawl at last call.

As last call arrived at a gay watering hole, the bartender did what he always does to close out the night. Yell out “last call.” Yet somehow, a strange guy heard that as “last brawl” and proceeded to turn it up. Then puffed chests, protective bros and blood. Lots of blood.

The Blotter Diva takes it from here:

At a local gay bar, a 25-year-old Ohio man was hanging out with his Atlanta friends. “Last call,” the bartender hollered. The Ohio man asked his friends to move away from the bar so other patrons could get their final drinks. As his friends moved aside, a strange guy slammed into the Ohio man's friend. Outraged, the Ohio man said, “Hey man, what was that for?” The suspect allegedly turned around and slammed a glass beer bottle onto the Ohio man's head, leaving “blood running down his face” from a visible cut, the reporting officer wrote.

The bloodied guy and his friends left the bar to get away from the bottle-swinging strange guy. And so did the assailant. He was gone when the cops arrived.
