Project Q seeking advertising sales executive

Add this share

We’re passionate about our news, events, photos and buzz in gay Atlanta, and we’re seeking an advertising account executive who shares that drive to join our fast-paced, online environment.

Launched in 2008, Project Q Atlanta now reaches the largest online audience of any Atlanta-based LGBT media outlet. We offer a strong editorial voice that attracts an opinionated audience and a wide range of advertisers who want to reach those readers.

As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced digital media advertising salesperson with a unique skill set – a motivated self-starter who is creative and strategic, and brings a strong understanding of lead generation to a fulltime position.

If you have a desire to succeed and make an impact on gay Atlanta, come build a future with us and help shape the way new LGBT media is monetized. The position offers a commission-based compensation plan that includes an initial training stipend and expenses.

Minimum 1 to 3 years in sales support, sales and/or digital advertising. (If not, you better wow us with why not.)

Experience in prospecting, inside and outside sales, closing deals and maintaining multiple client accounts, from prospecting through renewals.

Confidence in internal and external interactions, ability to ask questions, consult on client campaigns and make suggestions without fear.

Exceptional ability to establish and manage your own workflow to meet both internal and external deadlines.

Familiarity in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs and more.

Familiarity in the language of online measurement: unique visitors, pageviews and more.

Approachable yet authoritative telephone demeanor, clear yet friendly written communications. (This position requires both phone and field sales.)
