Social Tuesdays went “tried and true” this week by stopping in at the popular Gilbert’s Cafe in Midtown.
The intimate space at the Mediterranean cafe provided an ideal backdrop for the seventh week of the gay and lesbian networking and social evening. Gilbert’s has been a Midtown mainstay since 2000. The group moves to a different hot spot each Tuesdays beginning at 7 p.m.
Social Tuesdays is also behind Salvation Sundays, a new brunch at Maxim Prime at the Glenn Hotel in downtown. The brunch, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., kicked off Nov. 9 and continues each week with a new theme. On Nov. 16, it’s “80’s Rewind.” “Madonna-rama” follows on Nov. 23 with “All Whitney” on Nov. 30. Make a reservation as space fills up quickly.
