imageThe Pink Cadets, one of the newest and quickly becoming one of the funnest teams of the Hotlanta Softball League, stripped grime off cars and the shirts off their back for charity.

The 1976 film “Car Wash” — produced before many of the Pink Cadets were born — had nothing on these guys. They worked the parking lot of Cowtippers on May 15 to raise funds for their charity, Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Between the car wash and selling Jell-O shots later that night at Burkhart’s, they raised $1,200, which will boost their charity contribution at the end of the softball season later this year.

This is the same HSL team that attracted hundreds of people to Piedmont Park on April 10 for its Bats-N-Rouge fundraiser (view photos). On June 5, they host the Big Gay Amazing Race.
