Photos: AIDS Walk Atlanta’s triumphant return to Piedmont Park

With a few changes and a whole year off due to COVID, the venerable AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run blew into Midtown on Saturday for its annual walk, run and festival celebration. We caught some pics.

As usual, members of benefiting organizations walked for their funds, including host organization AID Atlanta. Scores of individuals, couples and teams from every corner of humanity also participated.

Recording artists Ludacris and Sevyn Streeter hit the stage in Piedmont Park after the walk and run. Speakers included Congresswoman Nikema Williams.

One of the run teams was Frontrunners Atlanta. The group kept the day going with a special edition of their social Prosecco in the Park.
