With gay DJ power couple Vicki Powell and Jay McCracken fueling the beats, you had to know that the Fourth of July holiday edition of Party Like A Rockstar on Friday would be a hit.
Add to the mix special deals on Fishbowl Margaritas and Jell-O shots — along with a big crowd ready to kickoff the long holiday weekend — and the event at Amsterdam Atlanta made for a fun and festive night. Event organizers also took donations for CHRIS Kids’ LGBT outreach efforts.
You might recognize the Party Like A Rockstar brand from its annual New Year’s Eve bash (photos). But the group of friends behind that effort — Justin Longenbach, Brennen Farlow, Kenny Pedraza, Cameron Pearce, Cynthia Vergara, Michelle Kiepper, Matt Rinker, Chris New and Josh Hoffer — decided to expand and add Friday’s event to start the holiday weekend celebration.
