When you’re a regular, New Year’s Eve can feel like an attack of the amateurs. Well, if you can’t beat ‘em, party harder. It’s a plan that works every year for Mary’s annual Attack of the New Year’s Eve Party Monster.

So it went on Monday, when a hoard of gay revelers descended for Mary’s brand of queer countdown in East Atlanta. The party welcomed regulars and tourists alike with its “free as hell” revelry and champagne at midnight.

The boys and girls threw down with tunes by DJs Headmaster Ritual and Sensational Gravity Boy.
