PALS goes all manly on drag Miss America

Gay Atlanta loves its drag. Glamazons, camp queens and gender benders all find their niche, but once a year, masculine-identifying men have their go in a good time for a good cause.

Pets Are Loving Support brought a crowd together on Saturday at Jungle for its Manly Miss America pageant. Six guys donned drag for the event and competed in swimsuit, evening gown and one state-inspired costume.

But the real determining factor for the winner was collections for PALS. Polly A. Morris, aka Craig Fisk, was named the winner, and the total funds raised was not yet finalized by Monday.
