The growing guest list for Atlanta’s LGBT film festival Oct. 2-8 now includes the director and lead actress at the screening of the third movie in the “Eating Out” series.
Out on Film’s lineup now includes director Glenn Gaylord and actress Rebekah Kochan (top photo) from “Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat,” which screens Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. The screening is sponsored by Project Q Atlanta.
“Rebekah is an absolute hoot and the only person in all three ‘Eating Out’ films,” says Jim Farmer, festival director.
Kochan plays the witty, wacky gal pal with all the best intentions — and often, the best one-liners — for the gay guys in the series. “Eating Out” was a sleeper hit on the gay circuit in 2004. Star Ryan Carnes went on to play gay as a recurring character on TV’s “Desperate Housewives.”
The film series always includes hot actors seducing each other in the lead roles. “Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds” in 2006 set tongues wagging at the likes of Marco Dapper. The latest movie will keep your attention with Chris Salvatore (bottom photo, left), among others.
The third installment also sees the return from “2” of John Waters muse Mink Stole. The Out on Film screening is the first time that the final edit of “Eating Out 3” will be seen by the public. Only rough drafts were available at a few earlier film festivals this year.
