There’s built-in irreverence in the bar called Church. When it’s Atlanta’s gay-owned, all-inclusive Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room and DJ Vicki Powell’s Sunday Service on Easter, you’re going to hell. And you’ll love getting there.
The popular lesbian spin-master gathered the gays – and a swarm of sometimes even more footloose gay-adjacents – for her Sunday Service party with an Easter twist. Men, women, young, old(er), red and yellow, black and white were precious in his sight. And by him, we mean Church mastermind Grant Henry, who held court over an undulating mass of parishioners.
See? Irreverent. Get a load of these amazing shots from another memorable Church service and come back for more each month through summer.
