The Atlanta Rainbow Trout learned an important lesson last Saturday: $20 isn’t enough.
The gay swim and water polo group stripped down and showed off for an appreciative crowd April 11 at Jungle. The occasion was Fish Out of Water, a fundraiser for the organization that they hope to make an annual event.
The evening included a mini-fashion show and the chance for attendees to purchase a Trout t-shirt for $20. For that, you could strip it off one of the many gay swimmers on stage and keep it (the shirt, not the Trout). Let’s just say the shirts didn’t last long, proving to the Trout that $20 wasn’t quite high enough.
The Trout teams—which span swimming, diving and water polo—practice several times a week at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.
