For gay Atlanta sports bar Woofs, it was the best of both worlds on Friday: Opening night of the Olympics combined with a celebration for a local sports team heading to the Gay Softball World Series.

Hotlanta Softball's Grey Wolves hosted a beer bust as they made final preparations to head to the World Series in Austin, which opens Aug. 15. There were bottomless beer cups, Jell-O shots and even a raffle to raise funds for the team's travels to Texas.

Hotlanta Softball is sending nine teams across four divisions to the World Series. The teams (and their divisions) include Elite (A), OutKast (B), Primetime (B), Arsenal (B), Sharks (C), Wild (C), Reign C2 (C), Reign (D) and Grey Wolves (Masters).

HSL opened its season in late March and when the players weren't on the field, they crowned their king. And queen. And showed off their Big Peach.
