In a Hotlanta Softball contest that is a mix of sexy and silly fun, some 14 people – including one woman – competed for the Mr. HSL crown on Saturday.

And when the skits were over, the tips counted and the scores collected, Kevin Hill (second photo) from Oscar's Atlanta Sting 2.0 took top honors. Tabi Robinson from the Nightriders took first runner-up, with Jason Clarkson from Atlanta Wild taking second runner up (bottom photo).

Hill takes the crown from Mendy Stark, who won in 2015. She took the crown from 2014 winner Jeffrey Mayhue. He replaced 2013 winner Ron Stan Leathers, who in turn followed beefy Nathane Davis, who won in 2012. He followed leather-clad hottie Tony Alvarez and Brandon Massello, who took top honors in 2010.

Campy queen Ruby Redd hosted the event, which included a trio of judges – lesbian radio personality Melissa Carter, gay nightlife fixture Lynn Barfield and drag queen Taejah Thomas. The evening raised funds for HSL teams headed to the Gay Softball World Series in Austin. Tips for the contestants benefitted AID Atlanta and Lost N Found Youth.

Hotlanta Softball opened its season in March. And the ladies get their own pageant on May 21 when the league hosts its Miss HSL contest.
