Gay basketball jocks from across the country converged on Atlanta over the weekend for the Coady Roundball Classic, which offered two days of games and plenty of nightlife.

Some two-dozen teams from across the country – including at least five from Atlanta – competed in the tournament hosted by the National Gay Basketball Association. Teams from outside Georgia included the Los Angeles Heat; San Francisco Rockdogs; New York City Hoopstarz, Cheerios and Rim City; Houston Avengers; DC Sentinels, Sentinels Red, Gray and Blue; and Ohio Fusion.

Atlanta teams won two of the five titles at the tournament, with Atlanta Flatline Reloaded topping the Competitive B Division and Atlanta Peach Impact taking the Rec Division. Other division winners: DC Sentinels A (Open), Southern California Ballers (Competitive B-) and DMV Elite (Competitive).

Games took place on Saturday and Sunday at the Suwanee Sports Academy, but nightlife events included stops at Truth and O'Kami Ultra Lounge.
