When Brandon Rudat isn't judging the gays, enjoying a celebrity bromance or delighting them with his mean booty shake, the gay news hunk is crafting his pop art. With Swarovski Crystal.
And the former morning news show host will unveil his collection on Thursday during the upscale Steak N' Pop at STK Atlanta in Midtown. There will be booze, live music and even some special guests. Think “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Or think about this: Rudat won't be the only talented hottie in the mix. Sexy pop singer Nick Hagelin, who on Wednesday released a cover of Avicii's “Wake Me Up” that he shot in Atlanta, will perform. Watch the video below.
“So many people in our community ask me what I have been up to,” Rudat says. “Well how about spending weeks locked into my art studio and creating massive art pieces created out of more than 40,000 Swarovski Crystals.”
The Emmy-winning news guy was dropped in July by CBS Atlanta after nearly three years with “Better Mornings.” He served as a fashion plate for the show, wasn't shy about showing some skin for gay charity and got Mayor Kasim Reed to admit “I was wrong” about gay marriage. He's teased us with his art, too.
Rudat's also trying his hand at weather forecasting.
