MSR parties blow doors off Pride weekend

Consider the bar reset for how big Atlanta Pride can be for the lesbian contingent. My Sister's Room pulled out all the stops on guests, space and scope to redefine what Pride means at the veteran East Atlanta women's bar.

My Sister’s Room expanded for Pride weekend to take up the entire block with extra space donated by neighboring bar the Glenwood. Four DJs, go-go girls, extra bars, drag king shows and tons of surprises ensued.

Comic, “Orange is the New Black” actress, and Atlanta Pride honorary grand marshal Lea “Big Boo” DeLaria played host of Friday’s 50 Shades of Orange Party. Other weekend guests included “The L Word’s” Whitney Mixter and Sara Bettencourt, as well as Saturday's live performers the Cheaters and the Maria Gabriella Band.
