HISTORICAL EXPOSE: Wall Street Journal reporter Douglas Blackmon (photo) stop at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse to read from and discuss his newest work, “Slavery by Another Name.” Blackmon’s groundbreaking historical expose is based on a vast record of original documents and personal narratives, unearthing the lost stories of slaves and their descendants who journeyed into freedom after the Emancipation Proclamation and then back into the shadow of involuntary servitude. 7:30 p.m.
