imageHAPPY HOUR: Those fun-loving workplace advocates, Out & Equal Atlanta, offer a happy hour tonight. Since it runs for more than two hours, it might be better termed a cocktail party. Free appetizers and a 25 percent discount if you stay for dinner. Agave on Boulevard. 5:30 p.m.

BUSY YOUTH: YouthPride, a group for gay youth ages 13 to 24, offers several events today. Free HIV testing opens at 5 p.m. Empowered Men, a group for black gay men ages 13 to 24, meets at 6:30 p.m. and Trans and Friends, a discussion group for transgender youth and their allies ages 13 to 24, also meets at 6:30 p.m.

BOOK CIRCLE: The Faiths & Feminism Book Circle meets for its monthly session at Charis Books & More. The open book group discusses “Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living with Fearlessness & Grace” by Angel Kyodo. 7 p.m.

WHACK IT: Those sporty lesbians of the Decatur Women’s Sports League are at it again tonight. This time they are grabbing their paddles for badminton. Catch the action at the Decatur Recreation Center. 7:30 p.m.

POKE ‘EM: Gay sports bar Woofs hosts its weekly night of Texas Hold’em Poker. 7:30 p.m.

MOVIE NIGHT: Joe’s on Juniper continues its Movies on the Patio with “Grease.” The flick is scheduled for dusk, which means about 8 or so.
