Miss Gay Georgia crowns three queens [photos]

Pageantry took center stage as drag queens competed for a triple crowning and a berth to national competitions during Miss Gay Georgia USofA on Thursday.

Aria B. Cassadine (Newcomer), Angelica Sanchez (At Large) and Kennedy Davenport took home the crowns and will compete in their respective pageants later this year in Dallas, Oklahoma City and Orlando.

The event at Jungle also served as a fundraiser for United 4 Safety, which is a collaboration of LGBT groups that focus on domestic violence and sexual assaults. The group says funds raised during the Miss Gay Georgia USofA pageant will help it launch a support group for gay and transgender men who are the victims of domestic violence.
