Oh, snap. There’s a fifth guy claiming Bishop Eddie Long as his megadaddy and this one — to quote Fox 5’s Tom Haynes — is the most flamboyant of the bunch. A purple hair singing sensation that tattooed his affection for Long on his forearm. Thankfully, Long’s congregation remains as blind as ever to the fact that their spiritual leader is a man-loving manwhore.
Fox 5 has been trying to chase down Centino “Wildchild” Kemp (top photo) for two months and when they did, the 22-year-old talked about most anything, his angry and sexually-charged songs included. But when the questions turn to his megadaddy affection, Kemp sprints for cover – to the safety of a stretch limo that speeds away. No, really.
According to various social media posts, Centino Kemp is 22 years old, single, tattooed, and always sporting different looks. He tweets openly of gay rights, and dreams of taking the recording world by storm.
One source says Centino Kemp, who was raised in the Bahamas, met Bishop Eddie Long years ago during a visit to New Birth while he was a teenage student in a Florida college. The relationship meant enough for him to tattoo Eddie Long’s name on his wrist, followed by the words, “Never a Mistake, Always a Lesson.”
Kemp was not one of the four men who sued Long over allegations of gifts and gay love, but apparently arrived on the scene as settlement discussions were in full gear. He nabbed his piece of the cash and has, like the other men, remained quiet on the details of what exactly takes place when young men are under the spell of Long (bottom photo).
Whatever that powerful spell, Long’s followers at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church share in it. They dismiss or overlook Kemp and his story about as quickly as the other allegations of sexual shenanigans.
But kudos to Kemp, who it seems is using a piece of his settlement to ride around Atlanta in true diva fashion, probably with his latest song, “Pornography,” playing in the background. (Take a listen in the second video below.)
Jamal Parris, one of the original four accusers, could learn from that. He inked his Long payout and used it for a BMW he picked up for $41,000. And later, Florida state troopers picked him up after finding marijuana, a gun and cash inside.
