Matthew Morrison delights gay Atlanta gala

"Glee" star and ab master Matthew Morrison talked LGBT equality on Saturday and delighted a packed HRC Atlanta gala dinner.

From London to a helicopter ride to the Hyatt in downtown Atlanta, Morrison took to the stage to accept HRC's Ally for Equality Award.

He joked.

"When appearing on stage I know that whenever we hear a Broadway tune, another gay man gets his wings."

And joked some more.

"Keep in mind that everything I know about gay people I learned from Jane Lynch in a track suit so don't start messing with me."

Got serious.

"I know just as much as you do that none of us are free until all of us are free to express our love and commitment to one another."

And offered a toast.

"I look forward to standing with you every day as your ally and voice. Here's to our bright future."

Unfortunately, Morrison left those abs tucked under his well-tailored tux.
