Do-gooding drag and silly shenanigans are a guaranteed draw for Burkhart’s each Friday and Saturday at The Mary Edith Pitts Show. The hostess with heart and her girls turned it out again on Oct. 2.

Along with Niesha Dupree, Savannah Liegh and Alicia Kelly, a cute crowd gathered round for special guest Dorae Saunders from “America’s Got Talent,” as well as the show’s namesake herself (second photo). The Mary Edith Pitts Show runs twice each weekend, plus her Sunday Spectacular.

Also on Saturday afternoon, Mary Edith’s ever-growing fund for Jerusalem House and Grady’s Infectious Disease Program gets a boost with your opportunity to meet Steven Daigle from TV’s “Big Brother 10” at Brushstrokes. Daigle’s the cowboy who took his XXX-tra gay assets and turned them into a porn career. Proceeds benefit the MEP Birthday Fundraiser raising money for Jerusalem House and the Grady IDP.

We’ve helped document some of Mary Edith’s 20-year celebration of fundraising through slightly inappropriate, fully funny drag with an undying mission to fight HIV/AIDS in Atlanta. This year alone, we snapped pics at her sexy boy Underwear Fashion Show in July, her Birthday Show in May, and her apperance with the rest of the AIDS-fighting Armorettes alumna at the Armorettes 31st Anniversary Show in January, to name just a few.
