Joseph Raymond Zeock likes cheap hotels in suburban Atlanta and rough sex: He’s accused, after all, of setting his teen trick for gay sex on fire. Now he faces new charges for allegedly attempting to recruit other victims at an aquatic center in Gwinnett County. WSB reports that a month before Zeock’s arrest last July that he was trolling for sex in a shower at the West Gwinnett Park & Aquatic Center. That arrest allowed police to link Zeock to the Gwinnett incident, where he's been charged with enticing a child. “The suspect was naked in the shower and he actually made beckoning motions to him from inside the shower,” Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police Department tells WSB. "Once he was picked up and we had a good ID on him, that actually led to us being able to charge him in this case as well." Zeock, 62, has remained in the Cherokee County jail since his arrest last year. Gwinnett police nabbed Zeock after he allegedly set on fire a 17-year-old male while the two had sex in a Woodstock hotel. “The victim stated that Zeock had promised him money in return for certain acts. During one of these acts, the victim was bound, gagged, and set on fire,” Woodstock police spokesperson Brittany Duncan said at the time. Prosecutors tell WSB they are seeking additional details of the incident before pursuing a grand jury indictment against Zeock.
