It's tough for gay Atlanta men to quench that thirst. Grindr, Jack'd, Tinder and even Craigslist can flop. So some guys go old school – cruising Piedmont Park after dark.
But your Hump Day threeway gets a little less fun when Atlanta police arrive. Even if the arresting officer offers up one of the most graphic and detailed takes on what he witnessed as he patrolled the park about 9:30 p.m. on a recent Wednesday.
The officer interrupted two men huddled around a third, who was positioned between his two copulating companions. The officer described what the men were doing as “performing sexual acts,” according to an Atlanta police incident report. But in case that doesn't quite set the scene, the officer offered more.
“Specifically, the male provided oral sex and ejaculation to the two males standing.”
One of the two men packed it up and left after completion, without offering anything in return. Selfish. But the dude doing all the work hadn't reached his point of personal satisfaction. Nevermind the officer. He wanted his nut.
“At some point, the third male left the location and the accused along with another male continued the acts together. The accused groped and caressed the other male repeatedly while fondling and ejaculating himself.”
Whew. It's getting a little steamy in the park. Except that's when things went downhill.
The two men finally noticed the police officer and tried to walk away – in separate directions. So the officer faced a decision – pursue the dude who got serviced, the one doing all of the work or let them both go. He chose the 41-year-old guy with the oral fixation and the desire to serve others.
As the officer approached the guy that was once servicing the other two, the man kept walking toward 10th Street. And then running.
“I approached the accused, identified myself as the Police, and asked him to stop. The accused asked me “For what” while starting to run. I then called out to the accused to Stop, Police. The accused continued to flee the area until I caught up with him.”
And by “caught up with him,” the officer really means knocked him on his ass.
The accused fell to the ground and rolled onto his back. He refused to turn over onto his stomach and assumed an aggressive position.
The man's night of oral satisfaction quickly turned into an arrest. And an interesting backstory he shared with the arresting officer.
“[He] told me he was having problems with his wife. He went on to say he would leave the park immediately and tell his wife everything he had done in the park if I would agree to let him go.”
The sob story didn't work. And what at first appeared to be a happy ending for the man turned into an arrest for indecency and a trip to the Atlanta City Detention Center.
Gay Atlanta loves its group sex. But they can be tough to navigate, especially with a police officer watching. At least no one's jockstrap turned up wet and bloody.
