Lost N Found drinks up for LGBT youth [photos]

Great patio weather, a good cause and a thirsty crowd were a winning combination on Sunday when Lost N Found Youth hosted a beer bust to benefit its programs helping Atlanta’s LGBT homeless youth.

Even as the group’s director Rick Westbrook steeled himself for a more serious 48-hour vigil in much nastier weather just two days later, the patio at Joe’s on Juniper bounced to the beat of DJ Shane V, the moves of emcee Brent Star and the sweet song of $10 bottomless beers.

Lost N Found Youth reaped the rewards. And even if you missed the beer bust, you can still donate canned goods and clothing to the gay teens that the group helps during Westbrook’s outdoor activism (view photos) in the Brushtroke’s parking lot through Thursday. Or simply make an online donation.
