WNBA superstar Lisa Leslie, one of the league’s original players and the first to dunk, was in Atlanta last week to pitch her book “Don’t Let the Lipstick Fool You.”
The three-time Olympian and her husband, Michael Lockwood, stopped at Charis Books & More on Oct. 30. Lockwood, a pilot and former college basketball player, also has a new book, “Women Have All the Power.”
After winning a gold medal with the Women’s Olympic team in 1996 Olympics here in Atlanta, Leslie became one of the inaugural players of the Los Angeles Sparks when the WNBA launched in 1997.
