Gay football stud Alan Gendreau sings you ‘Home’

Sing Michael Buble to me, stud. Alan Gendreau, the Middle Tennessee kicker who was once touted as our best chance for an out gay jock in the NFL, will focus for now on his singing career. And with the release of this new video, we’re fine with that.

Lord knows that the NFL needs good kickers and fans of gay jocks need a pro football player to call their own. But as of yet, that looks less like it’s going to happen. Good thing the sexy kicker of 60-yard field goals has a fallback plan. Boy’s got pipes.

Gendreau’s cover of Buble’s “Home” (above) came out just in time to be a soundtrack for Thanksgiving travelers. His voice coupled with his sex appeal could mean he’s the next Steve Grand. And by that we mean in the vein of ab-licious gay crooners who we’d totally do.

Outsports, the gay sports website that originally profiled him, says that Gendreau is returning to his home turf in Orlando to cut some tracks with no immediate hopes for an NFL contract after some tryouts. In the meantime, just lay back with us, enjoy it and let your imagination do the rest.

And since it's the holiday season, enjoy Gendreau's recent take on "Grown Up Christmas List."
