DJ Vicki Powell provided the cure for hairless upper lips on Friday as women popped on ‘staches and sideburns for Ladystache 4, the party that asks, “Why should guys have all the fun?”
Austensibly celebrating the January birthdays out there, Ladystache poured complimentary champagne for the birthday folks. But the evening was definitely more about serving good face.
“Grow your own, glue it or paint it, but you betta have it,” the gay DJ (bottom photo, right) told her guests before the party. “Don’t get caught with a naked upper lip.”
That’s right. For the fourth year in a row (check out last year’s photos too), facial hair was mandatory for the mostly lesbian throwdown at Highland Inn Ballroom.
Ladystache found the partiers swapping nuzzlers, mugging for the cameras and laughing it up at each other’s creativity. To top it all off, prizes were even awarded for best face fur.
