Las Margaritas hosts big Cinco holigay [photos]

If there’s a way to turn a Cinco de Mayo celebration into a carnival-like holigay, you better believe it’s going to happen at Las Margaritas. Balloons, masks, drag and singer Brie all made appearances at the day-long affair on Saturday.

Better yet, the endless margaritas and beer consumed by a crowd of more than 1,800 people supported seven non-profits. Some $2,000 was donated to Joining Hearts and an additional $1,200 was raised in tips by bartenders for the Armorettes, Southern Softpaw League, Hotlanta Softball League, Atlanta Bucks, Lost N Found Youth and Southern Line Atlanta.
