Las Margaritas goes big with gay Cinco party

Las Margaritas transformed its parking lot into an outdoor festival on Monday to again celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the flair you've come to expect from the gay-owned eatery on Cheshire Bridge.

Alissah Brooks, Phoenix, Mariah Paris Balenciaga (top image) and Violet Chachki delivered some drag realness during Papi's Parking Lot Cinco de Mayo Festival, while DJs Sean Mac, Karlitos and Harold G. provided the beats. The event, one of gay Atlanta's largest celebrations of the Mexican holiday, is the creation of gay Atlanta's own Oscar “Papi” Valdivieso (top image center), who owns the restaurant with his mother Martha. We offered ways to survive this year's party and you listened.

This year, the event benefited CHRIS Kids and those hunky Ready 4 Hope guys raising funds for AIDS Walk Atlanta.
