Lance Bass to host gay Atlanta #ToastToMarriage

Lance Bass, determined to help the South suck less on gay marriage, arrives in Atlanta on Monday to knock back SKYY Vodka cocktails with the gays and toast marriage. The gay kind, of course.

The former boybander and badass boxer with the abs (photo) comes to town as the host of #ToastToMarriage, an effort from Freedom to Marry and the vodka brand to set the world record for the largest arms-linked toast ever. And to call attention to the marriage equality fight.

Let’s support this important cause and generate awareness by making an official Guinness World Records attempt for the largest linked-arm toast. We need you present at the W Hotel Midtown on Monday, June 16, in time for our toast at 6:30 on the dot!

And then cocktails at Ten Atlanta.

Bass signed on to Freedom to Marry efforts earlier this year, cutting a supportive video with fiancé Michael Turchin in March and agreeing to serve as a co-chair of the Freedom to Marry's grassroots campaign to bring gay marriage to Georgia and other southern states. Bass and Turchin are set to marry later this year or in early 2015 with a televised special.

The Atlanta event kicks off an 11-city tour for #ToastToMarriage with stops in Miami, New Orleans, Dallas and Los Angeles.

‘Toast to Marriage’ is a unique partnership between SKYY Vodka and Freedom to Marry, the campaign to win marriage nationwide.

The organization aims to raise awareness and grow public support for the movement to win the freedom to marry in the United States.

During the summer of 2014 the ‘Toast To Marriage’ tour will visit 11 cities, raising awareness and encouraging supporters in each state to publically show their belief in marriage equality by raising a ‘Toast To Marriage’.
