Kat Graham rocks Pride’s drag cabaret [photos]

Singer, dancer and part-time witch Kat Graham injected a high-octane dose of pop into the Starlight Cabaret on Sunday, bringing Atlanta Pride to a raucous close. There was some drag, too.

“The Vampire Diaries” regular stole the show, delivering a lengthy, energetic performance that was part vocal, part dance and aided by Alissah Brooks – the closeout show is a drag showcase, after all – and a pair of hunky dancers. Graham (top photo) has been making the rounds of big gay events in Atlanta. Last week, she appeared at GLAAD’s Atlanta gala and on Friday, she performed live between sets from DJ Joe Gauthreaux at the Heretic.

The evening also offered Charlie Brown channeling Adele, the Armorettes, Violet Chachki with her own pair of dancers – they had chest hair — and a whole lotta drag kings, including the Rush Cast and Drag Kings of LeBuzz. Other performers included the Athen’s Showgirl Cabaret, Brent Starr, Savannah Leigh, Mary Edith Pitts, Lena Lust, Mariah Balenciaga, Shawnna Brooks and Wild Cherry Sucret.
