The typically large crowd of hipsters, gays and art lovers gathered for Friday’s opening of “Zenith,” the latest exhibit at Kai Lin Art. The show includes the nature- and cosmos-inspired works of six artists.
“Zenith,” the gallery’s 11th exhibit, is a seasonal show to help bring in fall. Guests at the opening enjoyed live music, art, cocktails and an after party that carried their spirit of inspiration well into the later hours of the balmy Atlanta night.
Owner Yu-Kai Lin (second photo) welcomed guests to sample the talents of Wallace DuVall, Savannah College of Art & Design Atlanta professor Dale Clifford, hipster artist Rich Stephens, designer/artist John Tindel, organically inspired Adam Wellborn, and Kai Lin resident artist Jon Arge.
As an added bonus, all the retail stores in the neighboring 800 block of Peachtree Street’s Cornerstone Village remained open during the event to foster alliances between the gallery and surrounding Midtown businesses.
