Jungle stays up late on Pride Sunday [photos]

While the fainter of heart nursed their weary gay feet on Sunday night after Atlanta Pride, the tough got going at Jungle. With extended bar hours and special guest DJs Rosabel, it was an easy call to make for dancing queens.

Yes, gay Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan did his people a solid by having Sunday’s last call extended for Pride. Parade done, Starlight Cabaret finished, all that Atlanta Pride madness coming to a close, and a packed Pride Saturday at Jungle for DJ Tony Moran, all that was left was for Rosabel – the combined talents of mix master DJs Ralphi Rosario and Abel – to hit the turntables and pump every last drop out of Pride.

Jungle’s expanded space didn’t hurt either. The club showed off its massive renovations just in time for Pride. It continues its weekly gay dance draw this week, too. DJ Susan Morabito keeps the beat on Saturday.
